Interesting Article In The Gadsden Times

This post is sort of a catchup bit of writing to keep you up on our 2023 news and notes.

An exciting and interesting article appeared in the Gadsden Times earlier this week outlining proposed changes to the Noccalula Falls corridor and the park and campgrounds. Here is a link to the article:

On to Christmas at the Falls!! Christmas at the Falls was a great success this past season. Over 2,000,000 lights were on display and the new trains were a big hit. We had some incredibly tough weather roll through during the month but even with those events we were able to finish strong with our second busiest season in short history of Christmas at the Falls.

Our Christmas team is already at work on next year’s event. Stay tuned to this blog for future updates.

As many of you know (and some don’t) we always close the park after each new year from January 2nd until March 1st. This allows us to transition from the Christmas season to our regular season. Believe it or not, it takes about three months to get the park completely back to normal. All those lights and displays have to come down and be repaired and placed in storage. Our Falls crew is amazing at getting all of this done on time.

Our next big event coming up April 15th and 16th, 2023 is Art on the Rocks. One of our premiere events, Art on the Rocks features handmade arts and crafts created by artists from around the USA. We will have vendors with food and drink as well. It is a great time so please plan to come this year. (Quick note: Art on the Rocks is held twice a year here at Noccalula Falls, in April and again in September)

Ok, that about does it for now. Make sure you read the article from The Gadsden Times linked above. I didn’t cover much of what is written here so  you could get the most from article itself.

Have a great rest of your winter and we will see you in March when we reopen for another great year!!
