Throughout the year many special events are held at Noccalula Falls Park and Campground, highlighted by Christmas At The Falls that starts Nov. 14th, 2025 and runs thru Jan. 3rd, 2026. This annual event features millions of lights winding throughout the park with holiday displays, light shows, Santa, cookies, cocoa and decorations that is guaranteed to bring out the Christmas cheer in anyone. Not even that Mean Ole Green One can ruin your night here at the Park. Oh yeah……..and did we mention the train ride through the lights!

Noccalula Falls Park is the starting point of this 600 plus mile sale that extends into Michigan, also known as the Highway 127 Sale. This begins Aug 1st and runs through Aug 4th. Each June, the Barbarian Challenge, an obstacle course race through the challenging terrain of the Park, attracts hordes of athletes to Gadsden to see if they have what it takes to truly be a BARBARIAN!!!!!!!
Other events include the world renowned Smoke on the Falls barbeque competition, Art On The Rocks arts and crafts festival (check website for more info), a multitude of trail-running events, and loads of fun times for family and friends of ALL ages!!
