Come celebrate the holiday season with Noccalula Falls and the City of Gadsden at Christmas at the Falls. Enjoy millions of lights throughout the park with spectacular views from the paved walking trails or from the vantage of a ride on the park’s train. During your visit to see the light displays, including several new features, you can stop for activities like cookie decorating, visit the petting zoo, and sip on some hot chocolate. While at Christmas at the Falls don’t miss a visit with Santa Claus, take a picture, and even drop a letter to the North Pole in Santa’s special mailbox at the Old Post Office in the Pioneer Village.
Christmas at the Falls runs nightly from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and kicks off on Thanksgiving evening at 5 p.m. and runs through December 23rd. Tickets can be purchased at the Noccalula Falls Entry Pavilion each day starting at 4 p.m. Tickets for ages 4 and older are $6, 3 and younger are free. Weather conditions can cause the closure of Christmas at the Falls as the train cannot run in inclement weather. Weather closures will be posted on social media channels and can be confirmed by phone at 256-549-4663.
A variety of special events will happen throughout the run of Christmas at the Falls adding further excitement and treats for visitors.

The Noccalula Falls Halloween Super Bash is a fearfully fun and family-friendly event! Break out your costumes, and come enjoy games, inflatables, balloon fun with Big Sam, trick-or-treating, vendors and more. In the true spirit of Halloween, Noccalula Falls Park will have classic fall activities like bobbing for apples, and a pumpkin toss. The regular Park attractions will also get holiday twists with Halloween themed stops at the petting zoo, train ride and other locations around the park.
Thousands of bargain-hunters descend on the Park from throughout the U.S. Noccalula Falls Park is the starting point of this 600 plus mile sale that extends into Michigan, also known as the Highway 127 Sale.

Originally, a ''Pig Roast'', the annual event now includes everything from the standard BBQ to ''Live Entertainment'' both Saturday night and Sunday along with an annual ''Charity Ride'' for motorcycle riders. This is a fun event in itself that brings additional ''Charity'' revenue to the cause of the Charity Pig Roast.
OCTOBER 13-14, 2017
Come celebrate the history of the Allis-Chalmers “G” tractor, which once was built in Gadsden. The Weiss Lake Power Association along with the City of Gadsden will present the “G” Roundup Antique Tractor Show. The show will be held at Noccalula Falls Campground. Vendors and all styles of tractors welcome. Admission $5.00
This event is a continuation of an ongoing show that had been held at Noccalula Falls Park and Campground for 25 years. This show hosts more than 300 vendors with vintage car parts, memorabilia, and other car items for sale or trade. There are also plenty of spectacular vehicles on display. Vendors and music will add to the festival atmosphere.

Gates are open 8-5 everyday with admission is $3.00 (children 3 and younger free) Proceeds go to the Humane Society Pet Rescue & Adoption Center

Barbarian Challenge June 17th 2016
Thrill-seeking athletes who are not afraid of getting muddy, wet, or pushed to the limit will be taking part in Gadsden’s Barbarian Challenge- a several mile obstacle course run through Noccalula Falls Park.
The course consists of over 25 natural and man-made obstacles up and down Lookout Mountain including rope climbs, mud pits, creek crossings, and hill climbs. Some obstacles have names, like the Weave, the Sternum Checker, or Cal’s Cliff. Costumes of all kinds are encouraged.
The Barbarian Challenge is for those 12 and older and participants can compete individually or as a team. Anyone under the age of 15 must have their parent or guardian present to sign a consent waiver and run with them. In addition to the race, there will be music and food vendors selling barbarian-inspired food.
