Black Creek Trail
The Black Creek Trails consist of 8 trails and connectors for those who enjoy walking, running, hiking and bicycling. The Black Creek Trail (1.7miles) is a gravel path which can be entered beside the wedding chapel located at Noccalula Falls Campground; it is a peaceful, scenic walk where you can enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.
The following trails have been cut through the rugged outdoors for those who truly enjoy being surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. The trails connect with each other and you will find markers throughout the area to help you on your journey. Whatley Trail (1.0 miles) has a moderate technical terrain with rocks and rougher areas. Moonshine Ridge (0.7 miles) flows with a moderate elevation change. Cascade Trail (0.6 miles) flows with only a minor elevation change. Family Loop (0.6 miles) was designed with families in mind, the terrain is easy with only a minor elevation change. Jeep Hill Loop (1.0miles) is more strenuous with moderate elevation changes. Jeep Hill Connector (0.3 miles) has the most elevation change of all trails for those that enjoy pushing the limits. Also, at the lower end of Black Creek Trail you will find Black Creek Bend (0.7miles) which is flat and flows along Black Creek. All trails are color coded on the map and also along the trails. We hope you enjoy the natural beauty that the trails have to offer, remember you may encounter wildlife along the way, please do not disturb them or their habitat. Motorized vehicles of any kind are not allowed on the trails. Additional trails to be added soon.
